Previously, I was the Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Ottawa, School of Political Studies and the Research Chair in Taiwan Studies. I received my doctoral degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
I research the politics of social welfare provision and care migration, with a focus on the transnational migration of care workers in East Asia. I am also one of the co-editors of Emotions, Community, Citizenship: Cross-Disciplinary Perspectives, published by the University of Toronto Press in 2017.
